Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Checked4AI. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Permitted use

Checked4AI is provided for lawful personal and professional use only. You may use it to replay Google Doc revision histories and check documents for AI authorship on documents you have permission to access.

Prohibited use

You may not use Checked4AI to access documents you do not have permission to view, to reverse-engineer or scrape the service, to circumvent any access controls, or for any unlawful purpose.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Checked4AI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account.

Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep it up to date.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that harms other users or Checked4AI.

Free tier

Checked4AI offers a free tier with limited features. No payment information is required to use the free tier.

Pro subscription

The Pro plan is billed monthly or annually via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the selected interval.

Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused time unless required by law.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Our content

The Checked4AI name, logo, interface, and underlying software are owned by Checked4AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without written permission.

Your content

You retain all ownership of the documents and content you analyse with Checked4AI. We do not claim any rights over your documents.

AI results are not guaranteed

AI authorship scores and typing pattern analyses are estimates based on probabilistic models. They are not conclusive proof of human or AI authorship. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for any consequential decision.

Service availability

Checked4AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Checked4AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Updates

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the extension. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
